Both. Roadbook Ready starts with the basics, so complete beginners do not need to know the symbols before they begin. It is also useful for experienced riders and pros who want a focused refresh on tulips, CAP headings, speed zones, dangers and waypoint notes before race day.

Why learn this before the event?

Because the start line is the wrong place to start guessing. If you have paid for the bike, kit, entry and travel, the roadbook should not be the part that catches you out.
